Keep pitches out of your HubSpot demo form
Doorman screens every HubSpot form submission and labels the contact: Real, Held or Kept out, with the sentence that gave it away. Your workflows and sequences filter on one property. Pitches stay in HubSpot, labelled, never lost.
No code, and your form stays a HubSpot form: you connect HubSpot once and pick the forms to screen. 14 days of Pro free, no card. Then free for 100 submissions a month, or Pro from $29.
Example: Doorman screening hubspot demo form, each judged in under half a second and delivered or kept out with the reason.
Sound familiar?
Every submission becomes a contact
HubSpot turns each form submission into a contact and can start a workflow on it, so a pitch can reach a sales sequence before anyone reads it.
Half your “leads” are selling to you
Agencies, SEO shops and outsourcers look like leads until someone reads them. Your sales team shouldn't be that someone.
Word lists block the buyers you want
An agency that needs your product uses the same words as one pitching you. Doorman reads intent against what you sell.

Transcript
- “Your demo form.” A message is typed into a demo form: “We do SEO and link building. Quick 15 min chat?” and sent.
- “It gets pitched all day.” The message arrives at Doorman’s door.
- “Doorman reads every one.” It is marked Dropped, sales pitch, with the giveaway sentence underlined. A real demo request is marked Delivered.
- “In ~100 ms. Pitches out, buyers in.” Pitches, card fraud and bot spam are kept out; real buyers go to the inbox.
- “Tell your coding agent.” A Copy prompt button for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and OpenCode is clicked.
- “It sets everything up.” The agent is asked to protect the contact form with Doorman, reads withdoorman.com/llms.txt, changes the form’s action URL and confirms a test submission was delivered.
- “Free to start, in watch mode.” Start with 14 days of Pro, free. Pro: $29 a month. No captcha, no sales call.
- Doorman. Keeps pitches out of your demo form.
Set it up in three steps
- Connect HubSpot: from Doorman's dashboard: sign in to HubSpot and allow access to contacts and forms. Doorman adds six Doorman properties to your contacts.
- Pick the forms: tick your demo form. Doorman makes a matching Doorman form and screens each new submission within seconds.
- Filter your workflow: enrol on Doorman verdict is Real instead of on the form submission, so pitches never reach a sequence.
- Start safely: watch mode labels everything Real for a week and notes what it would have kept out.
Contact property: Doorman verdict is any of: Real Re-enrollment: on
Checked, not guessed
Every decision comes from Doorman's models reading the submission, in milliseconds, with the reason attached.
Labelled test set: 104 invented but labelled contact-form and checkout submissions, judged live; latency is the median of those checks. Questions were not tuned to the set.
Questions
Does Doorman delete contacts?
No. It writes six Doorman properties onto each contact and leaves everything else alone. Only if you turn on archiving for a HubSpot account does Doorman archive the contacts it keeps out, into HubSpot's recycle bin, where they stay restorable for 90 days.
Which HubSpot plan do I need?
Doorman uses forms and contacts, which every HubSpot plan has. Workflows need a Professional plan; lists, views and the Doorman properties work without one.
What does the app read?
Contacts, to read each submission and write the verdict, and forms, to list them and read the submitted values. Nothing else: no deals, companies, emails or workflows. The scopes are crm.objects.contacts.read and .write, crm.schemas.contacts.write (to add the six properties) and forms.
Is the app in the HubSpot Marketplace?
Not yet: HubSpot reviews every app before it opens to everyone. Sign up free and screen your other forms meanwhile; Connect HubSpot appears in your dashboard as soon as the app opens.
Won't my workflow run before the verdict?
A workflow enrolled by the form submission starts a few seconds before Doorman's verdict lands. Enrol on Doorman verdict instead, or add a one-minute delay and a branch on it. The docs have the recipe.
Can I rescue a contact Doorman kept out?
Yes. Rescue it in Doorman's inbox: the contact's verdict changes to Real and the lead is forwarded wherever its Doorman form sends.
How much does it cost?
Free for 100 submissions a month. Pro is $29 a month for 5,000 and Business is $79 a month for 50,000, and every account starts with 14 days of Pro. Until November 30, the first 100 paying customers get Pro at $19 or Business at $59 for as long as they stay. Every plan gets the same models. See pricing.
Try it on your own HubSpot form
